2021 has been a challenging year but we have experience God’s Grace! Challenging times often invite folks to reflect and consider each other, our faith and our relationships. With lock downs in the past year, I have missed deeply gathering with my church family. Others in our community have shared with me their deep longing for community and big gatherings. However, we give thanks for a God of love, grace and hope. We give thanks for the message of light found in Jesus.
We give thanks to all the members, lay leaders, and ministry personnel in the Canadian Shield Regional Council. We are grateful for all you do to care for one another in love – whether it is within a community of faith, a cluster ministry or a network ministry – your commitment, dedication and determination to be a ‘community’ is what we do as God’s beloved. We give thanks for each and every one of you and your ministry in this time. We pray that all may experience God’s abundant life and JOY this Christmas.
The Canadian Shield Regional Council offices will be closed from December 23, 2021 to January 4, 2022.
If there is an emergency over the Christmas break, please call 705-474-3350 ext. 1 or 833-236-0281 ext. 1 and leave a message. This phone will be checked regularly and urgent calls will be addressed.
