Purpose of the Workshop:
Day #1 Thursday, February 3, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – To help Liaisons in their personal understanding of privilege, deepen personal and communal understanding of implicit bias and grow a passion for equity in the pastoral relations process in the United Church of Canada.
Day #2 Friday, February 4, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – To train the trainers. To support and learn from the pastoral relations liaisons in order to grow as trainers of search teams with an enhanced equity training process that can be used online and in person.
Presenters: Rob Smith, Todd McDonald, Bill Miller (as recorded from 40 Days for Racial Justice) and Dale Hildebrand.
This online workshop is for all pastoral relations liaisons in Canadian Shield Regional Council and Shining Waters Regional Council. A zoom link to the training will be sent to those who register closer to the training date.
