HELP WANTED! The United-in-Worship Project team are looking for Liturgy Writers to create United Church of Canada worship services and sermons.
The United-in-Worship Project is a subscription-based service of the Canadian Shield Regional Council’s Support to Communities of Faith Commission and St. John’s United Church (Marathon, ON). The project provides weekly worship resources for communities of faith currently without trained worship leaders.

The Moderator’s Advent Message
In his Advent message, Moderator Richard Bott reminds us that our Advent preparations might help the light of Christ’s love to shine in the night’s sky.
This is a reminder that the Licensed Lay Worship Leader minimum remuneration amount has increased as of October 2021 but it will also increase again in January. The current rate (as of Oct. 2021) is $175.00 with $0.41/km for mileage. This rate will increase to $177.28 with $0.41 on January 1, 2022. Once again, the CSRC LLWL Resource and Support Team will be offering a continuing education event for LLWLs in February 2022.
