I’m currently the Music Director at East Korah Maxwell United Church, and became a Licensed Lay Worship Leader in 2011. I enjoy doing pulpit supply, and I also enjoy providing the music at EKM’s Sunday worship services. My commitment to the music ministry at my home church limits the number of pulpit supply invitations I can accept, and requires a fair bit of advance notice. Being a Licensed Lay Worship Leader provides me with wonderful opportunities to learn and grow in my faith, and encourages and guides me to tackle those difficult scripture passages and questions that I might otherwise be tempted to avoid. One of the most valuable things I learned during the LLWL course was that everyone has their own unique style of leading worship and delivering a message. While styles may differ, our love for God and desire to share the good news is our common theme.
